It's located between Phuket and Krabi, but Phi Phi Islands belongs to Krabi province — about 48km from Phuket and 45km from Krabi. There are two distinct parts to the island, commonly known as Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Lay, separated by a small stretch of water.

Pick-up is 07:30–08:00 AM for Krabi Town and Klong Muang, and 08:00–08:30 AM for Ao Nang. The speed boat departs the pier at 09:00 AM.
