The driver will stop for lunch / toilet break / snacks etc. on the way if you want him to — you decide when you want to stop (drinks & meals aren't included in the transfer price).
- All prices listed include: tax, driver, gasoline and, where applicable, expressway tolls — there are no hidden extras beyond the ferry ticket noted above
- Faster ferry: all drivers use the quicker "Ferry Koh Chang" boat service to Koh Chang, not the slow "Centrepoint" ferry which also has less frequent departures
- Car seats for toddlers can be provided — maximum 2 seats per vehicle, with an additional charge of 200 baht per seat
- Cheaper than flying: one ticket from Bangkok to Trat on Bangkok Airways is now around 3,000 baht or more one-way, plus taxi fare from a hotel in Bangkok to Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport, plus 500 baht per person minibus ticket from Trat to your hotel on Koh Chang
- Round trip discount for all Bangkok – Koh Chang – Bangkok transfers — the price for the return trip back to Bangkok will be discounted by 500 baht
Is the ferry ticket included in the transfer price?
No. The ferry ticket to cross over to Koh Chang costs 90 THB per person and is not included in the transfer price — it's paid separately at the ferry pier.
What's included in the transfer price?
The price includes tax, the driver and gasoline, plus expressway tolls where applicable. It does not include the 90 THB per person ferry ticket, or any meals or drinks along the way.
Which airport should I use — Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK)?
Both airports offer a private transfer to your Koh Chang hotel. Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is priced the same as a Bangkok hotel pickup; Don Mueang (DMK) is slightly further from the route to Koh Chang, so it's priced 200 THB higher per vehicle.
Is there a discount for a round trip booking?
Yes. Book both directions — Bangkok to Koh Chang and back — and the return trip is discounted by 500 THB.
Can I request a car seat for a toddler?
Yes. Car seats can be provided for toddlers, up to a maximum of 2 seats per vehicle, for an additional 200 THB per seat.
Which ferry does the driver use to cross to Koh Chang?
All our drivers use the faster "Ferry Koh Chang" boat service, not the slower "Centrepoint" ferry, which also runs less frequently.
