Bamboo Rafting Phuket

Bamboo Rafting Phuket

📍 Start: Your Hotel
🕗 Duration: 7:30am – 5:00pm
🎋 Tour Type: Bamboo Rafting, Join Tour
🐘 Highlights: Monkey Cave Temple, Sea Turtle Center, Elephant Bathing, Sametnangshe

Bamboo rafting is a calm, family-friendly alternative to white water rafting — a traditional bamboo raft poled gently downriver by a local guide through peaceful jungle scenery, suitable for all ages including young children and non-swimmers.

Suwankuha Temple (Monkey Cave) is a cave temple sheltering a large reclining Buddha, with wild monkeys living around the cave entrance and grounds.

The Sea Turtle Conservation Center cares for and rehabilitates sea turtles, giving visitors a close look at Thailand's marine conservation efforts. Elephant bathing lets you interact with and wash the resident elephants at the river, a gentler alternative to elephant riding.

Three programs are available, from the base Program A up to Program C, which adds a visit to the Sametnangshe viewpoint over Phang Nga Bay; Program B instead adds elephant trekking and a short ATV ride.

Elephant trekking and ATV riding (Program B) take you further through the jungle rainforest and dirt roads around the camp with a guide.

Sametnangshe (Program C) is a hillside viewpoint overlooking Phang Nga Bay's limestone karst islands, one of the most photographed panoramas in southern Thailand.
