At Ancient City you can see all of Thailand in one place. This open-air museum occupies a 320-acre site shaped to the outline of Thailand and comprises an excellent collection of full-scale to one-third-to-three-fourths-scale replicas of the country's major monuments and temples — a realistic journey throughout the kingdom in only a few hours. The Ancient City is a "mini-Thailand," situated 33km east of Bangkok, with everything from one-third-scale monuments to a 50-metre-high mini mountain representing Khao Prasat Phra Viharn, and a rebuilt ancient Reception Hall of Ayutthaya.

The Ancient City is like a door opened to the cultural heritage of Siam — you can see the continuity of history, arts, culture, religion and beliefs of Thai talents, reflecting Thai fundamentals and the variety of cultures across Thai territories.

Erawan Museum is well known for its giant three-headed elephant art display. The three storeys inside the elephant contain antiquities and priceless collections of ancient religious objects belonging to Lek Viriyapant, the museum owner and also creator of the Ancient Siam and Sanctuary of Truth museums. The museum displays important model sculptures showing many facets of Thai culture.
